Food Safety & Allergen Information

Our unwavering commitment to kitchen hygiene, quality ingredients, and customer health.

1.FSSAI Registration & Licensing

momiq operates under the regulatory oversight of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). All food handling, preparation, and procurement comply with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

2.Kitchen Hygiene Standards

Our centralized kitchen follows strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

  • Kitchen Staff Uniforms: All kitchen crew wear sanitized caps, aprons, and clean workwear throughout shifts.
  • Daily Health Screenings: Staff undergo mandatory morning wellness and hygiene checks before entering the prep area.
  • Sanitization Protocol: Cooking equipment, stainless steel workbenches, and cutting stations are disinfected multiple times daily.
  • Filtered Water: Multi-stage RO purified water is used for all food preparation, cooking, and utensil washing.

3.Food Preparation & Quality Ingredients

We source fresh vegetables, grains, pulses, and spices from verified local suppliers. Meals are cooked fresh twice a day—morning for lunch and late afternoon for dinner. We do not use artificial food coloring, harmful chemical preservatives, or reused cooking oils.

4.Packaging & Seal Integrity

Meals are portioned into food-grade, leak-resistant, hygienic containers. Each meal box is sealed immediately after portioning to prevent external contamination during transit. Customers should verify that the packaging seal is intact upon receipt.

5.Fleet Handling & Transit

Our delivery fleet uses insulated carrying bags to protect meals from dust, sunlight, and weather elements. Delivery personnel are trained in hygienic contact-free handover procedures.

6.Allergen Information & Advisory

Meals may contain or come into contact with the following common allergens:

🥛 Dairy / Milk Products: Ghee, butter, paneer, curd, cream.
🌾 Wheat & Gluten: Rotis, parathas, suji, maida.
🥜 Peanuts & Tree Nuts: Groundnuts, cashews, almonds used in gravies.
🌱 Mustard & Soy: Mustard seeds, mustard oil, soya chunks.

If you have severe, life-threatening food allergies (such as anaphylaxis to nuts or gluten), we strongly advise that you contact our team before purchasing a subscription to evaluate menu feasibility.

7.Customer Handling & Consumption Recommendations

Because our food contains no artificial chemical preservatives, meals must be treated as freshly cooked home food:

  • Consume Promptly: We recommend consuming lunch meals by 3:00 PM and dinner meals by 10:30 PM on the day delivered.
  • Refrigeration: If consumption is delayed, refrigerate the sealed meal container promptly at or below 4°C.
  • Reheating: If reheating, transfer food to microwave-safe or stovetop utensils and reheat thoroughly before eating.

8.Food Safety Reporting & Escalation

If you encounter any food safety issue (such as an off-odor, unusual texture, or suspected foreign element), please take the following steps:

  1. Stop consuming the food immediately. Do not force consumption.
  2. Take clear photographs of the container, seal, and food.
  3. Submit a report immediately through our Food Quality & Safety Form or call customer support.

Every food safety ticket is routed directly with High Priority to our Kitchen Quality Manager for root-cause inspection and customer compensation.
