1.The Subscription Model
Unlike on-demand food apps where you browse menus, assemble carts, and pay separate delivery fees each time you eat, momiq operates on a single predictable subscription. One monthly subscription secures your routine for the entire cycle.
2.The momiq Monthly Plan
Our standard flagship plan is configured as follows:

- Duration: 29 continuous calendar days
- Daily Meals: 2 meals per day (Lunch + Dinner)
- Total Entitlements: 58 scheduled meal entitlements (29 Lunch + 29 Dinner)
- Price: Flat INR 2,999 (inclusive of daily delivery)
- Menu Rotation: Diverse 7-day revolving cycle with zero same-day lunch/dinner repetition
Note: While momiq Monthly is our core offering, future custom plans (such as single-meal lunch-only or 14-day trials) will clearly state their respective duration and entitlement count at checkout.
3.Activation & Start Date
Subscriptions do NOT activate simply because payment was initiated. Subscriptions activate strictly server-side when Razorpay cryptographic payment signatures are verified. During checkout, you select your desired starting date. Entitlements are created starting from that date through the 29th inclusive day.
4.Meal Entitlements & Wallet
Each entitlement is an independent record in your account wallet. Entitlements progress through verified operational states:
- Scheduled: Awaiting the preparation date.
- Paused: Paused by the customer before cutoff. Kitchen production will not cook this portion.
- Prepared: Freshly cooked and packaged in our central kitchen.
- Out for Delivery: Dispatched with our delivery fleet.
- Delivered: Successfully handed over to the customer.
5.Meal Pause Rules & Cutoffs
We understand that life gets busy, you might eat out with friends, or travel back home for a weekend. momiq provides real flexibility to pause scheduled meals:
Operational Pause Rules
- Future Dates: You can pause or unpause eligible scheduled meals on future dates anytime directly from the app.
- Same-Day Pause Cutoffs: To prevent kitchen food wastage, same-day scheduled meals can only be paused BEFORE the operational cutoffs (Lunch: 9:00 AM IST, Dinner: 5:00 PM IST).
- Prepared or Dispatched Meals: Once a meal status changes to “Prepared” or “Out for Delivery”, it can no longer be paused because ingredients have already been cooked.
6.Daily Delivery & Handover
Lunch meals are delivered during the afternoon delivery window (~12:30 PM – 2:00 PM), and dinner meals are delivered during the evening delivery window (~8:00 PM – 9:30 PM). Our delivery partner calls your registered phone number upon arrival.
7.Plan Expiry
A subscription expires automatically when its 29-day validity period concludes or when all 58 entitlements are exhausted. There is no auto-debit or forced surprise renewal.
8.Renewals & Continuity
You can renew your subscription seamlessly anytime during the final 5 days of your active plan. The new cycle will seamlessly commence the day after your existing plan expires, ensuring uninterrupted everyday meals.
9.Payment Verification & Security
We never store customer debit/credit cards or bank login credentials. Subscriptions can only be activated by cryptographic HMAC signature verification from our authorized payment gateway.
